Summer Taiko Institute Wrap-Up 2
Friday, August 14th, 2009On Ensemble had a fabulous time facilitating the 2009 Summer Taiko Institute! 32 participants from around North America spent three days with us learning On Ensemble’s approach to taiko and a new Free Music taiko piece composed for the community.

Taiko Conference 2009!
Monday, July 20th, 2009On Ensemble will be teaching and performing at the 2009 Taiko Conference here in Los Angeles! The bi-annual Conference is one of the taiko community’s most important events and we’re extremely excited about it! On Ensemble is facilitating the Summer Taiko Institute immediately prior to Conference, where participants will receive and help complete a new composition for the community! Each of On Ensemble’s members will teach one or more workshops within the Conference itself. We’ll be performing at the two Taiko Jam concerts. And Kris will also be debuting his four, brand-new “taiko games” with the help of taiko players from around the country! It’ll be a busy, fun week!

On Ensemble to facilitate Summer Taiko Institute!
Monday, March 9th, 2009We are very pleased to announce that On Ensemble will be teaching the 2009 Summer Taiko Institute! This 3-day taiko intensive will take place in Los Angeles on August 3-5, immediately prior to the 2009 Taiko Conference.
Applications are due Friday, April 10, 2009.
