Cross-country tour wrapup

We’ve returned to Los Angeles safe and sound. Whew! Somehow we managed to avoid the crazy weather on the east coast and in the south. I’d like to think we took some California weather along for the ride, but with a minus 11 degree Moab on our first stop of the trip, clearly we can’t take credit.

It was a whirlwind of wonderful people all across the the US (and Montreal!). Thank you to everyone who hosted us, treated us to a hot meal, and talked taiko. It was fantastic!

    Dislocated ribs? Really??

Sorry for the worry… I should probably post an update. Toward the end of tour I developed a pain in my chest. It felt exactly like a broken rib. A member of the theater tech staff mentioned she once had a dislocated rib. I went to a chiropractor who was convinced that was the issue. He pushed and pulled until he felt a pop and said, “Looks like you had two out of place.” I’m not convinced he fixed it… I’m still sore and can feel a bit of a pop during certain movements. But in any case, I’m confident the body will figure it out. No worries!
