Check out this trailer. It is a mobile dressing room for film shoots, located here in Vancouver. I think this will help you figure out what it might look like and how it might work out. http://www.westernwind.com/fleet/super_trailer.html

First of all great design, hope you are able to get it built. For windows you should still be able to install RV style windows in the walls of each level even though they are going to overlap in a closed position. Look for windows that will stay to the thickness of the walls so they don't bind up as you close it all. It is also possible to have hydraylic pins that lock the levels together once in either the up or down position. For stability in a up position leveling jacks of significant weight rating should take care of it, check out the mobile stages designs by Mega-stage or stage line for ideas. Hope this helps

Totally AWESOME Kris! I know we sort of breezed through talking about your trailer, but I had NO idea what you were talking about. I grew up in a trailer so...when trailer/mobile home is said, that's where my mind went. I've got a TON of questions but will save them for later. Just when I start thinking you couldn't surprise me by your creativity, you go and totally blow me away again!

Awesome. Your first road-trip should be to Seattle where you and Hiro can park next to my vegetable garden and have fresh eggs from the chickens.

Kris, that KHasita design is so neat! Good luck with your plans...but wouldn't you get more interior space with a cylindrical shape? Hmm, like maybe a Taikomobile? ;)
